Australian Resorts - Brampton Island North Queensland

The blue Whitsunday water and white beaches make Brampton a tropical island haven. Almost entirely National Park, there are seven sandy beaches and a coral reef. It’s a casual, fun island with lots to do for those inclined - fishing, snorkelling, sailboarding, bushwalking, chip and putt golf, volleyball, tennis - or just laze by the pool or on the beach. To really relax and revitalize there’s the Sea Spa for a variety of face and body treatments.

Accommodation

The Premium Ocean View Rooms offer the best views on the island, being located right on the beach. The rooms are modern with King beds, large comfortable lounge chairs and contemporary furnishings. Features include a CD player, waffle weave bathrobes and aromatherapy oil burners. There’s a hammock in the extensive outdoor area and guests are welcomed with a bottle of premium sparkling wine.

The Ocean View Rooms are beachside and are spacious, comfortable and modern. Double sliding doors open to a large L-shaped balcony or terrace. The Palm Rooms have a tropical outlook, some with water glimpses and are a short distance away from the beach and close to resort amenities. The private balconies and outdoor areas overlook native gardens.

The Carlisle Rooms are compact and comfortable with bright, tropical interiors and the balconies and patios have views to Carlisle Island.

Dining

The Blue Room is a relaxing lounge area overlooking the Whitsunday Passage and has the ‘Captain’s Table’ concept for dining, wine & cheese or beer tasting. There’s also an Internet kiosk area. The Aqua Bar has the evening entertainment and is open for drinks and snacks from 10am till late.

The Bluewater Restaurant is the main dining area and three superb meals are included each day - breakfast, a smorgasbord lunch and either a 3-course table d’hote dinner or a themed buffet dinner (seafood, Asian). Beach barbeques are held regularly and private romantic dinners on the beach are available.

Getting There

There are regular flights from all capital cities to Mackay and you can connect daily with Australian Helicopters or take the launch that also runs daily from Mackay Marina.
