Accommodation
The Resort Hotel Rooms are serviced daily and have a private deck, private bathroom with bath and shower, air-conditioning, insect screens, television, hairdryers, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and iron and ironing board. Also available are Spa rooms, interconnecting rooms and rooms with handicap facilities.
The self-contained 2 & 3 bedroom Villas include a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, private deck, insect screens, tv, radio, and telephone. Villas are serviced on request and extra charges apply. House keeping rates are available on application.
Getting There
Fraser Island stretches over 123 kilometres and is situated off Queensland’s east coast, south of the Great Barrier and north of Brisbane. The island is located 45 minutes by catamaran transfer from Urangan Boat Harbour, Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay is a one-hour flight north from Brisbane, or 3 ½ hours drive from Brisbane.
Self Drive: From Brisbane Airport turn right at the airport round-a-bout on to the Sunshine Coast motorway. Travel North on the Bruce Highway to Maryborough then follow signs to Hervey Bay. Conventional vehicles should go to Urangan Boat Harbour, which is well sign posted once you reach Hervey Bay. Four-wheel drive vehicles should follow signs off Maryborough to Hervey Bay Road for River Heads barge ramp.
