This property is half a star below its cousin, The Park Hotel, on the other side of the huge swimming pool. The missing half star means that the rooms aren’t quite as large as the Park (and the unique window from the bathroom looking into the bedroom not as big) but it is very comfortable with air-conditioning, mini-bar, tea/coffee, iron/ironing board, TV IDD telephone etc. All rooms have balconies overlooking the pool.
The Nouvata now shares a reception with the Park Hotel and both properties share the pool, restaurant, bar and other facilities (fitness centre, boutiques, massage & beauty etc). Shops, restaurants and nightclubs are close by (it’s a walk to the casino or Baie des Citrons as well) and opposite the beach and petanque courts of Anse Vata.
We believe ‘Anse’ in French means ‘demi-circle’ and ‘vata’ is an outrigger canoe, so ‘Bay of Canoes’. There are watersports from the beach and you can take a water taxi to Ilot Carnards or Ilot Maitre.
