Cook Islands Resorts - Reflections on Rarotonga

Your hosts at Reflections are Carolyn and Grant Wilkinson and they certainly know how to pamper their guests and from the moment you arrive you get a ‘wow’ factor. When you go through the private entrance to the two beachfront villas you pass your own personal swimming pool to the front door.

Downstairs is the master bedroom with hand-carved super-king four-poster bed with mosquito net. The master bathroom has matching pedestal basins, toilet, bidet and a circular glass brick shower. Floors throughout are marble and the living area has a Home Theatre System (DVD, flat screen TV, surround sound). There are indoor gardens and water features and the designer kitchen has dishwasher, microwave and especially commissioned hand-painted dinnerware. There are BBQs in the front and rear outdoor living areas, and from the downstairs you step onto white sand that slopes into the lagoon.

Upstairs has a King Bed and another two-person bathroom as well as front and rear decks. This can suit two couples travelling together or a change of scenery and view for a couple on their own.

The Waterfall Villa is one bedroom (but can sleep 4 adults) with its own waterfall and stream in tropical gardens. It has a separate bedroom with air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

There’s no private pool, but the lagoon is only 20 metres away and there’s a lovely private outdoor living area, Home Theatre and quality fitting throughout.
